I would like to recognize a shop that I used to have my new Nissan dinghy set up for towing. This included installing Blue Ox base plate, tow bar, and wiring for brake lights, breakaway switch, battery maintenance kit and a Patriot 3 breaking system. Labor rate was 160/hr which is the going rate today. Time was 3 hours for installing base plate which required dismantling the front of vehicle, 2 hours for all wiring including motor home. New cars are a pain with push button ignitions and complicated electrical and mechanical systems that do not like intrusion. Then there are the curtain air bag systems that dare one to mess with dash and seats. I found the owner Greg to be a great guy and very knowledgeable. They are a Blue Ox dealer. It was a good experience.

They specialize in chassis stabilization work. Correcting unwanted sway, steering wander, wind and trucks pushing you around, bouncy ride and porpoising. Stan Scott has had very good experiences with them. Electricity is available to keep you rig powered up and overnight stay in your RV can be arranged.

Propane supplier: 76 station/convenience store/car wash located at the corner of Monument Blvd and Marcia Dr. very close to Hwy 680.
When driving from Walnut Creek on Hwy 680, take the Monument Blvd exit and turn right onto Monument Blvd, and the 76 station is located on the right-hand side, in 100 yards or less.
