Coloma mid-week rally

July’s three day mid-week event involved six Rossmoor Roadrunner RV’r’s planning to camp on the South Fork of the American River, across river from where, in 1848, James W. Marshal discovered gold in California. Unfortunately when the temperature exceeded 100 degrees, two couples felt forced to cancel. Those of us attending expressed interest in returning to this resort.

This beautiful shaded campground hosts many sites backing up to the river. The resort offers electric and water at each site, private bathrooms with showers, plus a swimming pool, and several group meeting areas with covered tables. Most groups book a year in advance for this location.
