Roadrunner RV Club Enjoys Annual Bocce Ball BBQ at Sportsman Park

The best club traditions do not need much explaining. A sunny day, a few friendly games, food on the grill, and time to catch up can carry a whole season’s worth of memories.

The Roadrunner RV Club gathered recently for its annual bocce ball outing and barbecue at Sportsman Park in Rossmoor, bringing members together for one of the group’s favorite outdoor events of the year. The gathering offered the kind of easygoing afternoon that fits the club well, with members enjoying good weather, shared food, and conversations about summer travels, fall plans, and winter adventures still to come.

Everyone brought their own entree to barbecue, along with a side dish to share. The club provided hot coals, with thanks to Mike, along with cold drinks and a sweet dessert to round out the meal. As in past years, many of us left with some good ideas for new campgrounds and destinations to explore.
