Crab Feed Extravaganza!

Several Roadrunners made the trek over to Lodi to join the Elks Lodge "Crab Feed" Rally. This has been an annual event for many years and our club was invited to participate.

It was more than a crab feed. We shared a potluck dinner and breakfast too and made several new RV friends over the weekend.

Our hosts outdid themselves with the main event. We started with clam chowder, followed by salad and deviled eggs and platters of jumbo shrimp and fresh Dungeness crab meat. No one went hungry, that's for sure.

Between the meals, we all planned our own activities, which included bird watching at the Woodbridge Ecological Reserve, wine tasting at several local wineries, and exploring the shops in Lodi.

It was nice traveling with our fellow Roadrunners again, and we are all hoping the Elks invite us back to Lodi again next year. If they do, get your reservation in early!
