On the river in Red Bluff

Third time's the charm, so they say. We've had reservations at the Durango RV Resort in Red Bluff that had to be cancelled due to fires, smoke and the pandemic. At last, we were able to make the rally happen in June, and about a dozen rigs made the drive up to Red Bluff.

Ed and Lynda did a great job organizing the few days we enjoyed together.. It all began with a delicious meal when we arrived. We learned a couple of new games that just might become new Roadrunner traditions too.

We had a group outing to the Sundial Bridge and Turtle Bay Exploration Park and Museum. We also had a tour of a lavender farm. Lynda planned plenty of free time and some folks made the drive to Lassen National Park while others stayed closer to the resort and relaxed or visited local attractions. Of course, sampling the local eateries and shops is a popular activity during our rallies.

.

Our timing could not have been better, weather wise. No typical summer heat the week we visited, and we enjoyed ideal temperatures and clear skies.

It was wonderful to gather with old friends and be able to welcome a couple of new members too.
